SMSC WEEK

We really enjoyed the Multicultural Markets today!

It was a special experience being able to take part in playing instruments, dancing, tasting food and drink, making crafts and drawing relating to other cultures, traditions and religions and learning new things.

Judaism - Shabbat
Stick dancing
Polish dancing
Japanese origami
Playing instruments from other cultures
Pakistan - tasting food and drink, looking at and trying on clothing

We will be talking about the workshops during the week, taking part in other activities, continuing to learn about Chinese New Year and sharing our very important Identity Backpacks with each other at group time.

A very busy and interesting week ahead.

Watch this space for some photos soon:-)

Kung Hei Fat Choy

Happy Chinese New Year!

We have enjoyed tasting some Chinese cuisine, including: rice, noodles and prawn crackers.

We also recorded our likes and dislikes.

We have enjoyed learning some new songs and rhymes. So much fun!

We have been busy making dragon masks too.

We have taken special lucky money envelopes home too.

We are also looking forward to having a special Fortune Cookie treat later this week.
